Me Time

This was another slow week, but like... in a good way. I spent a lot of time just enjoying things around me. Ironically not journalling, and generally taking it easy.

On Tuesday I got my Estrogen Pellet topped up with 2x more implanted. I also got a lot more pathology forms printed this time, so I plan to take more intermediate measurements of my levels to improve my curve & tracker element on my homepage. After the appointment I decided to continue work, but outside. I got off the train at Wynyard and decided to try find somewhere to sit and work in Barangaroo. I found a cozy little spot where I sat and got some tickets done while watching a Heron & the Ferries run by. It was quite nice1.

The rest of my week was pretty uneventful - I decided to do two in-office days on Weds-Thurs and surprisingly got a lot done. I also made sure on those days to enjoy going out and getting fresh air. It's really easy to just stay in the office chair at home all day and never move. So I'm really trying to get out and about more.

I was sick on Friday & Saturday with a bad migraine though, I think the urge to slow down and go outside more was my body telling me I've been pushing myself a bit too hard at work with the tasks I pick up. I tried to get around it by working outside. But it all came back around and got me in the end...

While I was sick, I got really back into playing modded Minecraft with some friends. We're playing through a custom modpack with only a few mods. Farmers Delight, Create (+ addons), Enchanted, and other QOL things. It's been fun and refreshing surprisngly. But we all know the Minecraft streak really only lasts ~2 weeks at best lol.

I ended the week with a chill early dinner with my family for my Dads 49th Birthday. Was cosy, and was nice to chat. I ended up talking a bit about my desire to get SRS and the anxieties that come with that, but everyone was really supportive2. Apparently I get my health anxiety from my Mum - so it's nice to know its not just something my brain made up just for me haha.

I might start looking into the process of booking something at Suporn clinic - I'm lucky to be in a position where I can afford the procedure, it's just the medical fear I've got to get over3.

Hoping this week to resume the daily journalling habbit, it kinda just slipped my mind entirely last week ;;;

Footnotes

  1. And I should do it more!

  2. My Sister asked if I was going to get a "Designer Vagina". That's one way to put it lmao.

  3. One step at a time, take it slow, and try not to freak out!
