New Bag!
It's been another week! It's kind of spooky how quickly time has been passing - and writing these blog posts really makes me realise how much time is passing and how quickly it's all moving. This week was relatively uneventful though! Although - the gap in me giving updates about my fitness has got me a bit worried about how I haven't gone running or really done any exercise in nearly a month... I still do basic movement stuff assigned by my physio but nothing too big,,, I've gained almost 5kg since I last weighed myself, but I'm just telling myself its holiday weight lol. Maybe I go running this week? I guess you'll find out in my next update haha.
I finally bought myself a nice bag for work last week though. I've been using an Alpaka Metro 12L backpack for a while now and while it goes with techy or casual fits it really does not match my current vibe I'm tying to show off at work. I did have my eyes on a Longchamp Le Pliage Energy large handbag, but it was kinda wayyy to expensive imo1 ... It would match my casual handbag (I currently daily the XS one) - but I wasn't too sure if it'd be good for work. SO I ended up getting myself a July Everyday Tote instead! Way cheaper2, way more of a casual/chill shopping experience, and I got it in purple!!

It's soooo cozycore and it kinda goes fire with my winter work outfits so I'm suuuuper happy with it!
Another thing that came up this week was Rego3 ..,, we were legit planning to try sell the car this year (since we don't really use it) - but we've been insanely busy and had no time to deal with it. So we've got to go re-register the car, get all the slips, mechanics checks etc etc. It's looking to be more than A$1,500 again which SUCKS because we did the math last time this came around, and we could rent a van or a car anytime we drove last year and still save money ;;; !!
The rlly only benefit having our own car is for if we ever wanted to do an interstate road-trip which is still on our bucket-list but STILL!!! I'm super frugal and still follow my worst case scenario budgeting method + I like to think on two working incomes we're doing a lot better than most people our age but bills like this are still kinda like "Oh fuck ok - we did technically budget for this, but it's going to SUCK this month"... I guess this shows, if I'm following my own budget methods that I should allocate more to Rego lmao... it is what it is...
It's ironic complaining about rego bills when I was literally a paragraph earlier talking about how I'm excited 4 my new tote bag ,,, but it does kinda smell that all general living shit just keeps getting more and more expensive... We'll find out on Thursday how much it all ends up coming out too ,, praying we don't get scammed by a mechanic lol.
On a happier note! I realised I haven't shared too many pictures of Cammy here! She's our adorable 1yo rescue kitten! We love her with all our hearts (even if she's a goblin sometimes). She's napping next to me right now!

You might have noticed I'm including more photos in these posts - truth be told, I actually take HEAPS of pictures every week to remind myself what I did, but I've not really shared them. However, I've started using a new camera app called Halide and I really fuck with its "Process Zero" mode. Hopefully will start a habit of sharing more pics on these weekly posts, although they're unlikely to end up on the main images page, that's where all my Europe pictures will go.... eventually....
